User’s can have different locations assigned to them based on the e911 number they use. This is usually managed by the provider that might add additional numbers to the emergency CID when calling 911. So, you can assign those depending on how you have the e911 configuration with your VoIP provider.
The different locations may vary on cities, for example, if the business has multiple locations for offices using the same PBX. Or even establish different floors and areas of a building, like “5th floor east wing.”
